A year ago, we were sitting uneasily in our office chairs, trying to make final optimisations to our new shop. Will everything work? How will our new brand [BOXXCO] and its shop be received? Will the customers appreciate the energy and love we have invested? Many questions that occupied us and circled in our heads. And what can we say, after one year we can proudly announce: It was worth it. We live and love our identity as [BOXXCO] to the full. The shop is performing, the warehouse is constantly turning, the internal workflow works and the team stands behind it as a unit. But that also means that we don't want to and can't rest. The next project has already been launched: The ground-breaking ceremony for the second warehouse on our company premises in the Königsbrück industrial estate. With an investment volume of 1.65 million, a lightweight hall with 1,500 m² and an extension to a total of 3,500 pallet spaces is being built. This will double our storage capacity, which we intend to use in the future not only for our web shop. In addition to the expansion of the warehouse assortment, we are also planning an extended, demand-oriented warehouse provision for customers in the individual business. In addition, two more staff positions will be created in the warehouse and sales teams (if you already know that you would like to join us, please send us your application without obligation :-)). The project is scheduled for completion by the end of 2022. Once again, numerous companies from the region are involved. The planning office thomas neumann ingenieurgesellschaft mbh, which was already responsible for the first warehouse and the office building, is coordinating all the trades and construction phases involved. We hope that this construction will again go so smoothly and that we will be able to invite you to the opening of our second warehouse at the end of the year. Statement on Shrove Tuesday Carnival has a long tradition and great significance in our region, too, and it was all the more difficult in recent years when the pandemic meant that we had to do without it. With the number of infections dropping, hopes were high that this year we would be able to stick to traditions again. Unfortunately, in view of the situation in Ukraine, the mood did not allow for carefree celebrations. In a small circle of colleagues, we did not miss the opportunity to spend the working day in minimal costume and a last common meal before Lent. With the statement [STOPWAR] we want to show solidarity with the citizens of Ukraine and express hope for a quick end to the fighting.
