Material and production
The mailing bags for media are made of solid board or corrugated board in E-flute. They have a low weight, but are still stable enough to protect the media to be sent. Thanks to an integrated central web, the CD letters have a high degree of stiffness. The all-round edge protection of the jewel case mailers additionally protects the CDs, DVDs, Blue-Rays.
Media mailing envelopes are made from recycled, FSC-certified raw materials and can be disposed of in an environmentally friendly manner within the Dual System Germany.
Structure and handling
Media packaging is optimised in size and weight for mailing and can be sent as compact letters.
The envelopes are equipped with a secure closure that has a self-adhesive function. This saves both time and sealing materials during packaging. A tear-open aid facilitates the removal of the products by the recipient. The printed warnings ensure maximum protection for the goods during transport. In addition, the CDs, DVDs and Blue Rays are protected by the all-round edge protector. The shipping bags for media usually offer space for up to two CDs, each of which is contained in a jewel case. Thanks to the corrugated structure of the cardboard, the media mailing pockets are extremely flat and can thus be stored in an excellent and space-saving manner, which makes them particularly suitable for commercial use and in the mail order business. Cleverly integrated, they offer additional space for documents to be sent along. The attached sleeve can be detached later for archiving.
Disposing of the media pockets is easy, as both solid and corrugated board are recycled products that can be disposed of in an environmentally friendly manner.
